July 2012, I plan to embark on an incredible journey. I will be riding my bike across America, starting in San Francisco and ending in Virginia Beach. My goal is to raise $75,000.00 for the 'Springs of Hope" orphanage in Africa. The entire proceeds from this trip will go towards building an orphanage and installing a clean water well for the children in the Kamba-land region of Africa.

2007 was the year that I began writing a new story. That year I ran the Chicago Marathon at the age of 40. Then in 2008 I raced in the half IRONMAN in Muncie Indiana. In 2009 I raced in the swim from Alcatraz in San Francisco California: and in 2010 I ran the Surf City Marathon in Huntington Beach, California. Finally, this has lead me to biking across America the summer of 2011 to raise money for an orphanage, Springs of Hope in Africa. My mission along the way is to connect with as many people as possible, talking, listening, and encouraging them to take steps towards making their dreams a reality while raising and addressing the spiritual, mental and physical issues Americans struggle with today. I will make this journey across America to rise up a new generation of young people that would transform the world with one changed life at a time.
